Yuze Digital – Privacy Policy

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is to explain how Yuze Digital India Private Limited (“Yuze,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information of individuals who access and use our Platform, including website, mobile application, and related services (“Platform” or “Services”).
This Policy ensures transparency and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including RBI guidelines.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Customers and users of the Platform
  • Merchants and business partners
  • Employees, consultants, and vendors providing services to Yuze
  • Third-party service providers sharing business or personal data with Yuze

It covers any information not publicly available, including personal, financial, transactional, and business data, collected for the purpose of providing Services, verifying identity, complying with regulatory obligations, or managing operational and business risks.

3. Data Collection

Yuze may collect:

  • Personal information: Name, email, mobile number, date of birth, address, government-issued ID, KYC details, bank account details
  • Transaction information: Wallet transactions, payment history, balances, IMPS/UPI transfers
  • Device and usage information: IP address, device type, browser type, app usage metrics
  • Communication information: Emails, messages, call logs with Yuze support

We may also periodically update KYC and customer information to ensure it remains accurate and relevant, following RBI’s Master Directions on KYC and applicable regulations.

4. Privacy Commitment

Yuze values the privacy of all individuals and is committed to:

  • Collecting only information necessary for the provision of Services
  • Using personal information only for the purposes consented to by the user or required by law
  • Implementing technical, administrative, and operational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse
  • Ensuring that all employees and business partners comply with this Policy

5. Use of Personal Information

Yuze may use collected information to:

  1. Provide and manage Services, including wallet issuance, transactions, and account management
  2. Verify identity and perform KYC/AML checks as required by RBI and other regulatory authorities
  3. Communicate with users about account activity, promotions, and updates (users may opt out of marketing communications)
  4. Resolve disputes, investigate suspicious transactions, or comply with legal obligations
  5. Perform analytics and improve the Platform’s performance and security

6. Sharing of Information

Yuze may share personal information with:

  • Regulatory authorities (RBI, NPCI) and law enforcement agencies as required by law
  • Third-party service providers, including payment gateways, banking partners, and technology providers, strictly for service delivery
  • Business partners and co-branded wallet issuers (e.g., LivQuik) as required to provide Services

Note: We ensure that your personal information is never shared beyond the purposes outlined in this Policy.

7. Security of Information

Yuze implements industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest (e.g., HTTPS/SSL, AES 128-bit or above)
  • Secure storage of personal information in controlled facilities
  • Access control to limit personal data to authorized personnel only
  • Monitoring and incident management for unauthorized access or security breaches

Personal information no longer required for business or legal purposes will be securely destroyed, subject to applicable archival requirements.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies or similar technologies to:

  • Enhance user experience on the Platform
  • Measure and analyze traffic and usage patterns
  • Deliver personalized content and advertisements

Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information unless explicitly provided by the user. Users may manage cookie preferences through their browser or app settings.

9. User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or update their personal information
  • Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal or regulatory obligations
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications
  • Raise concerns regarding privacy or data handling

All requests can be submitted to our Privacy Officer (see Section 11).

10. Data Breach Notification

Any employee, partner, or service provider who becomes aware of a potential privacy breach must immediately inform Yuze.
Yuze will investigate and notify affected individuals and regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable law.

11. Grievance Redressal & Nodal Officer

Yuze has appointed the following Privacy and Information Security Compliance Officer for grievance redressal and policy compliance:

Process:

  • Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours
  • Resolutions will be provided within 30 days
  • If unresolved, users may escalate to the Nodal Officer, whose decision will be final

12. Retention of Information

  • Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to provide Services, comply with regulatory requirements, or resolve disputes
  • Periodic reviews will be conducted to update or securely dispose of obsolete information

13. Changes to Privacy Policy

Yuze may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the Platform and, where feasible, via email or app notifications. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
